Clair & Chris

Having spent the past month tied down working on commercial projects, it was so fun to get back to weddings this weekend and process my latest sneak peaks for Clair and Chris.

Thanks to any one that has been eagerly holding their breathe in anticipation for these; none more so then the lovely and very patient Mr and Mrs Auld themselves!

I first met Chris at a mutual friend’s wedding after which myself and Chris have kept in close contact exchanging photography advice, editing tips and generally geeking out over the latest camera equipment on the market. As fellow working professionals, I was really touched when Clair and Chris asked me if I would photograph their big day.

Both started their day’s at their respective family homes in Churchdown, a stones throw from the simply spectacular St Batholomew’s Church where they officially tied the knot. The sun shined throughout the morning and continued to beam down on Chris and Clair as they exited the church greeted by a surprise Scouts guard of honour.

The couple and their guests continued the day’s celebrations at Brickhampton Court Golf Complex, the club’s amazingly light and airy function room.

Relatively new to the wedding game by their own omission, I was so delighted to see how smoothly and punctual the day ran for Clair and Chris. Staff were hospitable, informative throughout the day and even organised a couple of golf buggies, which allowed us make the most of the immaculate grounds.

Thank you both! Looking forward to a catch up with you in a couple of weeks.
