Yesterday I had the absolute honour and privilege of photographing the stunning wedding of Colin and Ellen in Springkell, Eaglesfield.
Having driven up to Scotland on Friday, I joined Ellen's friends and family for a few drinks at the breath-taking venue. Built in 1734 by Sir William Maxwell, the lovingly restored mansion felt almost purpose built for Colin and Ellen's special day.
I was quickly made to feel like part of the wedding party by everyone that I was introduced to by my close friend of 14 years James, whom had recommended me as a photographer early last year.
The weather couldn't have been more perfect for the big day itself and guests were treated to an outdoor wedding in the venue's grounds before being accompanied back to the other side of the estate by a bagpiper to continue the days merriments.
