Janelle & Dan

I first met Dan back in 2010 whilst working in Australia. We immediately hit it off on day one in the job, after bonding over goon and jelly shots at an 80s themed birthday party hosted by a mutual friend of ours.

Having created many memories with Dan during my time down under, I was extremely envious when a few years later he told me that he and his best mate Alex had booked flights to travel and work in New Zealand. Little did I, and I think it’s fair to say, nor did his friends and family believe he would meet his future wife there, the beautiful Janelle.

Fast forward to last Friday and the pair tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the stunning orangery at The White Hart Inn. Despite the overcast weather the room felt light, warm and spacious - perfect for photos!

Although the weather was miserable all morning, the pair enjoyed a dry afternoon and also managed to have most of their couple and family photographs outside overlooked by beautiful Derbyshire countryside.

Celebrations continued at the bespoke country hotel right through to the early hours, as the guest list more then doubled with their evening guests. As with all great weddings, the weather turned out to be irrelevant as the day was filled with laughter, joy and warm family atmosphere.

Thanks so much for having me Dan and Janelle and thank you to all your friends and families for making me feel so so welcomed! Hope you had an amazing time in Italy, can’t wait to hear all about it!
