Jemma & Scott

Scott and Jemma first contacted me to book my services way back in 2016. Having put their faith in me to capture their special day so long ago it was really lovely to be able to hear about their weddings plans as they developed and evolved them over the past few months and to witness it all come together last Saturday for their big day.

Having had such extreme weather over the last few weeks it was no surprise when I awoke last Saturday to see that the rain was absolutely hammering it down. The rain was unrelenting all morning right up until Jemma arrived drawn by horse and carriage at the beautiful St Mary’s Church in Charlton Kings.

Jemma and Scott’s infectious optimism and positivity was rewarded as soon as they arrived at the absolutely breath-taking Glenfall House as the clouds lifted and gave way to glorious sunshine for the rest of the afternoon and late into the evening.

Guests were treated to champagne, canopies, garden games, a whole lot of sun and even a bouncy castle before drifting inside for their wedding breakfast and some very emotive speeches, one particularly special one was written by Jemma’s late father and read by her Mum.

The newly weds had an amazing day and saw in the night dancing away to the very best of 90s dance-pop, opening up after their first dance with the infamous Vengaboys’ Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom….that’s one way to ensure I stay on for a few extra songs!

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs B, I hope you guys had an absolutely amazing day, myself and Rhiannon certainly did. Thanks for having us and I wish you a long and happy life together!

Thank you also to the team at Glenfall house for thoroughly looking after us. We hope we are back very very soon!
